Technical categories for how the ground behaves. TC1 is good ground and takes a standard raft. TC2 needs an engineered raft. TC3 is the hard ground: it can need a re-levellable foundation or piles, and it is where advice before you buy matters most. Christchurch has all three, sometimes on one street.

For most Christchurch ground, yes: it is what we specialise in. A ribraft sits on pods with reinforced ribs, spreads load well, goes down fast, and handles this city's ground conditions better than old-style strip footings. Where it is not the right answer, we will say so and price what is.

We do. That is the whole point of Master Foundations: one crew books and runs the plumber, the surveyor, the engineer, the council inspections and the heating installer where there is one. You deal with Mark; everyone else is ours to chase.

The pour itself is a day. What takes the time is everything around it: consent, trades, inspections, weather windows. That is exactly the part we coordinate. Start the conversation early: the sooner the plans land, the sooner the moving parts get booked.

We watch the forecast and pour when the concrete can cure properly, not when the calendar says. A day's slip beats a compromised slab, and you will always hear about it before it happens, not after.

Most foundations never have it. Where yours does, we coordinate the installer into the layout so the coils are in the right place before the concrete arrives, not an argument after it. The heating itself is the installer’s trade; the sequencing is ours.
