Hillside foundation

Engineered block retaining carrying the slab line on a hillside section, wrapped and tanked before any backfill went against it. On sloped ground the foundation starts well below the finished floor, and the retaining is as much the foundation as the slab is.

Engineered work like this is where the ground check earns its place in the process: the system gets matched to the ground before anyone prices it, not after.
